The Test of Observation is the first Krazoa Shrine test in Star Fox Adventures and the only test where Krystal is playable. The reward for completing the test is the first Krazoa Spirit.
In the test, the first Krazoa Spirit hides in one of the six large vases. As the vases move, Krystal must observe the movement of the vase with the Krazoa Spirit. She must avoid touching the vases while they are moving or else she will be damaged. When the vases stop, Krystal must go to the one with the Krazoa Spirit. If Krystal guesses incorrectly, she loses the test. If Krystal correctly guesses the vase three times, she completes the challenge.
Trivia
- On the official, defunct Star Fox Adventures website, there was a flash game called "Krystal's Test of Visual Acuity". It is a clone of concentration, and the player's goal is to correctly guess which of the SharpClaw Crates contains the PukPuk Egg. If the player successfully guessed three times in a row, they are rewarded with a wallpaper of Krystal riding a CloudRunner.[1]
