Snaplaks are a type of enemy that appear in Star Fox Adventures. They are only found in the arctic areas, SnowHorn Wastes and DarkIce Mines. Snaplaks unexpectedly emerge from the ground whenever Fox comes near them. Snaplaks attack Fox by slashing and biting at him, and can be defeated after a couple of hits from the staff.
Snaplaks have a smaller relative named Snipluk which, besides their height, are essentially identical in appearance, although they attack by firing energy orbs.
