The Hi-Def Display Device is an optional item that Fox McCloud can purchase at the ThornTail Store in Star Fox Adventures. Its default price is 20 Scarabs, and the bargain price is 17 Scarabs. It was owned by Fox but when Slippy Toad airdropped it to Dinosaur Planet's surface for Fox, the ShopKeeper found it and put it up for sale.
This device functions as a scope to view things from a distance. The display can be brought up by pressing Z, which replaces the Head View. The C Stick is used for zooming in and out.
