It appears at several locations throughout Fox's quest at Sauria, but perhaps mainly at ThornTail Hollow. As a mushroom, it is unable to move, but it is able to emit poisonous spores that will hurt Fox if he is to close. Even though it is invincible, it can be temporarily stunned with a shot from the Fire Blaster, allowing Fox to pass by without getting hurt.
