Sauria, also known as Dinosaur Planet, is a large, prehistoric and mystical planet filled with ancient ruins that are easily defended, lush forest, and multiple tribes of dinosaur denizens.

History

Such places include Ice Mountain, Cape Claw, Thorntail Hollow, and Cloudrunner Fortress. The ruling tribes of the mentioned planet are the EarthWalkers and the CloudRunners. The Cloud Runners and Earth Walkers "do not see eye to eye", as stated by the Cloudrunner Queen. The Krazoa spirits created four Spellstones, full with dark matter that absorb the energy of the planet and hold it together. Two force point temple were built, ocean and volcano, to keep the Spellstones. The imfamous General Scales of the SharpClaw Tribe took the Spellstones, and hid them within the places where the krazoa first created them. The planet was torn apart by this, but luckily, Fox McCloud saved it, by returning the spellstones to their temples. Sauria is the only planet whos dezinens speak a language different than the rest of the Lylat System. The language is Dino, later known as Saurian.

In Star Fox: Assault, Sauria was attacked by the Aparoids. Some of it's inhabitants tried to fight back with some of them paying the ultimate price. Star Fox manages to destroy the Aparoid Hatcheries and repell the Aparoid invasion.

The ending revealed that most of the native population had escaped into the forests and avoid harm, but the local resistance forces had suffered terrible casualties. In addition, there were immeasurable amounts of historical losses due to many of the ruins across the planet suffered during the battles. It's imperative for the Lylat System to research and implement an aid program as soon as possible. The Destruction level was an A and the Aparoids were expunged.
