Warp Gate

Warp Portals or Warp Gates are special gates an aircraft (preferably an Arwing) can go through. After a certain number of them are gone through, the Arwing (and apparentally all of the other aircraft within range of the vacuum) will be launched into a Warp Zone.

Warp Gates in Meteo

At a certain point in Meteo, Fox can fly through these Gates and will gain speed, making it harder to go through all of them in order. These Gates are naturally occuring and circular and they look like the Supply Rings from Star Fox. Taking this way will send you through a Warp Zone to Katina.

Warp Gates in Sector X

Warp Gates are also present in Sector X. This time, the Gates are larger and easy to go through, but the doors must be shot open (more effectively with the Double or Hyper Laser upgrade). Bill will help you if you failed the mission on Katina or chose to go to Sector X anyway instead of Solar. Taking this Warp will send you through a Warp Zone to Sector Z.
