Lasers are a form of energy used by many vehicles, including the Arwing, Wolfen, Blue Marine, Landmaster, and Cornerian Fighters. They appear in every Star Fox game, ever since the first game. The Laser is usually used by repeatedly pressing the A button, or holding it down. Once charged, the Lasers locks on to the opponent. Lasers cannot affect certain targets such as the hulls of some larger spacecraft. There are items named Laser Upgrades that can enhance the lasers shot out from a vehicle.
