Star Fox Guard is a tower defense game for the Wii U starring Slippy Toad. It is the first spin-off game in the Star Fox franchise. The goal of the game is to protect the mining operations of Grippy, Slippy's uncle. It was released on the same day as Star Fox Zero as a separate disc bundled with first edition copies of the game, and was later released in the Nintendo eShop for download.
