Invader I Fighters were a class of star fighters used by the Venomian Army during the Lylat Wars in Star Fox 64. They were first encountered by the Star Fox Team during their recapture of the Cornerian base on Fichina (misspelled as Fortuna). Armed with a single laser cannon, these slow, ungainly fighters were no match against Star Fox's Arwing fighters, even when outnumbering their enemy several times over. Improvements were made to the design with the Invader II Fighters and Invader III Fighters.
