It was owned by [[Fox McCloud]] prior to ''[[Star Fox Adventures]]''. But when [[Slippy Toad]] airdropped it to [[Sauria]]'s surface for Fox, the [[ShopKeeper]] got it before he did. That is why he has to buy it. It works as a scope to view things from a distance and the display can be brought up by pressing the [[Z Button]], replacing the [[Head View]]. The [[C Stick]] can be used to zoom in and out.

The Hi-Def Display Device is an optional item for purchase in the ThornTail Store. It's default price is 20 Scarabs, and the bargain price is 17 Scarabs. It was owned by Fox McCloud prior to Star Fox Adventures, but when Slippy Toad airdropped it to Sauria's surface for Fox, the ShopKeeper got it before he did. It works as a scope to view things from a distance and the display can be brought up by pressing the Z Button, replacing the Head View. The C Stick can be used to zoom in and out.
