Katina is a near desert planet, despite this it still maintains vegetation. Used by the Cornerian Army as a major front line base through the Lylat and Aparoid Wars, later colonization efforts were successful. A garrison of two fighter squadrons, Husky and Bulldog, is lead by Bill Grey, a longtime friend of Fox McCloud.
