Poptop is an enemy introduced in Star Fox Adventures which carries some attributes similar to a turtle. It's the only enemy that constantly resides in water-filled areas and can only harm Fox if he gets located while being in the the water. Once Fox gets located, it swiftly swims towards him and bites him, followed by it making a withdrawal to where it previously swam. It can be killed by a shot from the Fire Blaster when its head gets extended.
