The Brain Squid is an enemy which appears in Star Fox Adventures. As the name implies, it resembles a squid with a visible brain in its center. It emits a constant light and stays afloat while moving in a certain pattern. If Fox gets to close to it, it will start spinning its tentacles and slowly move towards him. It can easily be killed by one hit from the [[Krystal's Staff|Staff] or one shot from the Fire Blaster, or by using a Fuel Barrel or a Basket, which is the only way for Krystal to defeat one.
