The Brain Squid is an enemy which appears in Star Fox Adventures. As the name implies, it resembles a squid with a visible brain in its center. It emits a constant light and stays afloat while moving in a certain pattern. If Fox gets to close to it, it will start spinning its tentacles and slowly move towards him. It can easily be killed by one shot of the Fire Blaster, or by using a Fuel Barrel or a Basket, which is the only way for Krystal to defeat one. It appears in packs at the Krazoa Palace and the Ocean Force Point Temple, roaming freely at different heights.
It will occasionally reappear after a while once defeated.
