thank you for joining the wiki

Thank you for joining the wiki. Your help is strongly appreciated. [Tacopill|(talk)] 15:41, 21 July 2011 (PDT).

Thank you for the images

Thank you for the images... but I need to ask. Where are you getting them from? [Tacopill|(talk)] 13:09, 7 January 2012 (PST).

I got most of them from various sheets on Spriter's Resource, while some of them are from screenshots (like the two from 64 3D I uploaded). I'm going to try adding the sources to them, but there's no template for ripped images x3 2Tie 13:14, 7 January 2012 (PST)
Oh, and the rings pic I made in 3DS Max :P 2Tie 13:35, 7 January 2012 (PST)
Would screen shots do?
Also, get it from there is fine. Just please, source them any way you can.
[Tacopill|(talk)] 13:40, 7 January 2012 (PST).
I was working on it, and Screenshots would seem to work, but there's a slight roadblock I've noticed... There doesn't seem any apparent was to add multiple characters in the characters field... (I added a bit to it's documentation, though) 2Tie 13:46, 7 January 2012 (PST)
Yeah, the character field is complicated. If we design it for links to each character, we can't have the categories at the bottom. If we have no links at all, or one giant link, then we can. [Tacopill|(talk)] 14:06, 7 January 2012 (PST)

Images you asked

Finally finished those images you asked for, but really late. Sorry 'bout that. Airconny talk to me here 23:52, 9 December 2012 (UTC)

It's alrights, I'm just happy for them to be up ^.^ -2Tie (talk) 04:10, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Hey, 2Tie. I seen those SF64 3D images last time. I was wondering if you can rip all character headshots. If you can't, it's fine. The 3DS is pretty hard to rip. Airconny talk to me here 22:38, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
I'll see what I can do :) I already have a stockpile of them somewhere, just gotta find it... -2Tie (talk) 18:31, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Any success with WarioWare yet? Airconny talk to me here 20:03, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
Haven't tried yet. Ever since we've gotten the Wii U, our Wii actually hasn't been plugged in ^.^' -2Tie (talk) 00:30, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
Lucky. :) Well, anyways, take your time. We can wait. Airconny talk to me here 22:02, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

Do you think it would be a good idea for this wiki to have a YouTube channel for walkthroughs on the Star Fox games? Someone could pick what can they would want to do. What do you think? Airconny talk to me here 02:37, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

I think that would be pretty cool, and would probably give me more incentive to finish up Command ^.^' I've finished every game (including 2) except for the original heh. I've also beaten both X and X-Scape, since I see them as sister games to Star Fox.
Great, great. :). Now, you are experienced with using an emulator, no? And you know how to record your computer's monitor and all, right? If so, how would you like to choose what games you want to do? Airconny talk to me here 16:53, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

It depends if you're aiming for a Let's Play or a walkthrough. A walkthrough is entirely possible, though has also been done before several times. Likewise, Let's Plays are more entertaining and grab more views, though if it isn't funny rnough, or your voice is annoying, it will bring down the channel, which in turn is representing the whole wiki. I'm a Let's Player myself, though I wouldn't be good enough at the Star Fox games to play for you. ToastUltimatum 20:37, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

Hmm...True, but we should just stick to walkthroughs, we should stay informative, for the sake of this wiki. Update: Never mind the idea. I'm sorry, but I seem to not be able to get my screencasting program to work. :( Airconny talk to me here 21:26, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
I have experience with Let's Playing, and I most certainly have enough knowledge to do walkthroughs for Star Fox 2-Command (and 64 3D), as well as X and X-Scape. I personally have never beaten the original Star Fox yet, although i could definately work on it to a point where I could be of use there. I don't know if my voice is good enough to cut it however. Here's some of my LP's I've done so far (X is most recent) youtube (dot goes here) com/user/monkybros/videos?flow=grid&view=1 -2Tie (talk) 20:25, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Is that really your voice? If it is, it's perfect for those let's play through. I swear I almost laughed, your voice is funny. Erhm...It's still pretty good. Airconny talk to me here 20:08, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Yes, that is indeed my voice. I'd love to get cracking right away on them, but I should probably get some more opinions (and refamiliarize myself with SF1, heh..) -2Tie (talk) 20:25, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Okay, true, we are going to need more opinions, but what will the YouTube channel be called, who will make it, etc.? Airconny talk to me here 20:33, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
It could be called something like Lylat Wiki Walkthroughs (LWW fer short).. We could have multiple contributors, but I'm down with at least helping with it. Toast Ultimatum would likely be another contributor, as well as you if you can figure out a recording setup :3 -2Tie (talk) 20:41, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Well, I figured that out, just use Fraps, convert it to .wmv (this compresses the file to make it smaller, but it still shows up, I put it on my YouTube channel, but you wouldn't want to see it.) You want to make the channel, 2Tie? Airconny talk to me here 20:49, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Eh, I'm probably going to wait for another go-ahead before I proceed, just to be sure I'm not jumping the gun ^.^' -2Tie (talk) 20:58, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Oh, true. Hopefully I won't keep on dying in Assault when the time comes...XD. Airconny talk to me here 21:07, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

I have blocked them. Thank you for pointing it out. [Tacopill|(talk)] 02:25, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
You're welcome - and there's yet another one here: Special:Contributions/Katherinerobinson879; it's hard to tell, but it's possible they're some kind of organization attacking the wiki or using the same IP address--but if that were true then the autoblock should've ceased the attacks. They've been hitting other wikis too; so perhaps I should contact MediaWiki about it and see if they can assist with it. ----DeviantSerpent (contribs) 22:36, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
