Reference needed?

Is the reference part really neccessary? I know about citing, but I haven't seen that on any other wikis. Usually the quotes are the sources and sourcing the quotes can really put a limit on what can be found.--TW 12:55, 2 September 2010 (PDT)

I think so, in the fact that if you pull it from a game vs. a strategy guide vs. [1]. However, i am not above making it optional. I just don't want people to forget about it. [Tacopill|(talk)] 12:58, 2 September 2010 (PDT).
Say WHAT? Dude, you just can't reference quotes, or you'll end up with something as dumb as this. It's just redundant to do "This is a quote"<ref>"This is a quote"</ref>, know what I mean?—Justin(Talk) 14:41, 2 September 2010 (PDT)
I'll go ahead and remover that part. Like I said earlier, places like Zelda Wiki use the quotes as sources in the articles. If they had to source those quotes...--TW 15:11, 2 September 2010 (PDT)

Character Links

Would it be okay to remove the automatic linking from the name section and add the links manually to each quote? This is mainly in the case of quotes coming from guides such as those on Pigma and Katt. --TW 05:22, 19 September 2010 (PDT)

Yeah, that's fine. I suppose you can deny Strategy guides and Instruction Manuals there own page(s). [Tacopill|(talk)] 08:28, 19 September 2010 (PDT).
