A Core Memory is an essential part of an exceptionally strong Aparoid. Only the elite soldiers are permitted to carry Core Memories, but more ofetn than not, they are destroyed with their host. The Star Fox Team was able to recover a complete specimen, but it was stolen Pigma Dengar over Katina, believing he could become rich from its sale. After a merry chase through the Sargasso Riegion, a battle over Fichina and a showdown in Meteo, where Pigma was finally defeated and the Core Memory was recovered for research.
