'''Peppy Hare''' (Japanese: ペッピー・ヘア ''Peppī Hea'', Peppy Hare) was one of the members of the original [[Star Fox (team)|Star Fox team]]. He and [[James McCloud]] were betrayed by fellow member, [[Pigma Dengar]]. James did not escape alive, but Peppy did and gave the news of his death to his son, [[Fox McCloud]]. Fox eventually formed a new Star Fox team that Peppy joined. He served by giving useful information to his allies and a capable pilot. Eventually he retired and became a general in the [[Cornerian Defense Force]], succeeding [[General Pepper]]. He has a wife, [[Vivian Hare]] (deceased) and a daughter, [[Lucy Hare]].
