After destroying his disembodied hands and head, Andross's True Form was revealed to be a gigantic brain with bio-mechanical eyes. Moving into all-range mode, Fox destroyed the eyes and then the brain. As he dies, Andross self-destructed. Fox screamed at his impending doom, but, out of nowhere, the supposedly dead James McCloud appears to lead Fox out of the maze of tunnels.
