The Assault Carrier had two large forward hangars that take up over three quarters of the hull. Having these massive hangars, allows the ship to carry an impressive complement of fighters, dropships, guships, [[Landmaster]] tanks, and other vehicles. Their standard complement is usually six fighter squadrons, twelve dropships/gunships, and six Landmaster tanks. These configurations can be easily changed for almost any mission profile. However, with this great cargo capacity, it lacks in defense. Without shields, even the smallest of fighters could devastate these ships.

Most naval battlegroups have at least one carrier. The [[Cornerian Defense Force]] still has a full carrier task force for a first response force.
