Argonaut Software was a British video game company. In 1993, they helped Nintendo in developing the original Star Fox game for Super NES. Argonaut also helped Nintendo develop the officially-unpublished Star Fox 2 and have not since been involved in developing a Star Fox game. Argonaut went out of business in 2004.

However, the lead programmer of the first two Star Fox games, Dylan Cuthbert, later founded Q-Games, which developed Star Fox Command.
