The Missile Launcher is an unlockable weapon on Star Fox: Assault. One can unlock this powerful weapon by playing five matches in VS. multiplayer mode.
Usage
The missile launcher is different from other explosive based weapons, as it's direction and movements are able to be remote controlled. Once a missile is fired, the one firing it will remain vulnerable until the missile explodes or collides with an object.
Strategy
Collect a lot of ammo and position yourself in a hard to reach area so that you can be safe until the ammunition is depleted. Another solid use is to stand on an elevator(preferably the one on katina outpost) and fire the rocket on your way up, giving you a few moments of protection. Also if you are in a team match, you can wing ride with your team mate and use your rocket launcher more safely.
