The Machine Gun is a default weapon available in Star Fox: Assault. It fires rapid shots, which is good for racking up damage.
Usage
Pressing and holding the A or R button will allow the gun to fire until the entire magazine is depleted.
Strategy
It is useful against vehicles for its accuracy, and for its rate of fire. It has hitstun for each bullet and the only way to get out of an accurate stream of bullets is to D/I away. A common strategy would be to trap an enemy with this weapon, then quickly shoot with a Sniper Rifle.
