Forum:We're merging with Lylat Wiki! All users report!

For a while, I've been talking with Neo (a NIWA user) at the NIWA Network about a merger with Lylat Wiki. Until I learned about exporting and importing, I was a little drawn away from the idea. I now fully support it, and am letting this continually thinning community know what's going down. Many users, some of which are administrators, have left, and few remain. It is important that I receive thoughts on this merger, especially from users like Dogman. To help with your decision, I will list the pros of this merger:

• No more disruptive advertisements.
• Simpler, less complicated format.
• No unnecessary updates or implementations (Blogs, Article Comments, Badges, etc.)
• Less vandalism. With a more secure domain, we won't have to worry too much about that.
• Organization of things will be easier overall.

Unfortunately, I can't really think of any cons other than this will require a lot of work, which is what we, as editors, are used to. :) Neo will stop by to further discuss the merger for those who need more information. Thanks for reading! BNK ^[E|T|C] 20:29, October 17, 2010 (UTC)
