Argonaut Games PLC was a British video game company. In 1993, they helped Nintendo in developing the original Star Fox for Super Nintendo Entertainment System, along with the Super FX chip. Argonaut also helped Nintendo develop the officially-unpublished Star Fox 2 and have not since been involved in developing a Star Fox game. In 2004, Argonaut Games entered liquidation due to cash flow issues and was dissolved in 2007.
