Supposedly hollow after a geological event shrunk its core, Macbeth is known for containing a wealth of minerals.  Home to a large population of miners, engineers and scientists, Macbethians was enslaved by [[Andross]] during the Lylat Wars and put to work supplying the [[Venomian Army]] with weapons of war.  It became the industrial key to the Venomian war effort, and a launching pad for interplanetary missiles launched against [[Corneria]].  A small resistance force continued to fight for Macbeth's freedom until the end of the war.
