''[[Starfox 64]]'' has a [[Training Mode]] to help the player get used to the controls. The level consists of 3 stages. Stage 1 has the player flying through 100 rings. Stage 2 consists of doors that open and close and the player must maneuver through them using the [[Brake]] or [[Boost]]. Lastly, Stage 3 consists of you fighting endless hoards of enemies until you die.

The Trainer appears to be a raccoon with a green cap. A theory is that he may be a flight instructor for the cornerian army. He holds up a wrench showing that he is also some type of mechanic.

*On Stage 3, after the player shoots a number of enemies down, a [[Wolfen]] appears and the player has to take it down. It is unknown if either [[Wolf]], [[Leon]], [[Pigma]], or [[Andrew]] is in the Wolfen or even if the Wolfen is even real (it could be a hologram to help you in your training).
