:# I've never seen anything like this before, outside of StrategyWiki, where it's used for a very different purpose. I'm not sure what to think of it on a regular wiki. Perhaps just try it out and see what the general opinion is.
:# It's always a good idea to have an independent review of an article. On StrategyWiki, the ystem is to allow a guide's contributors decide its completion level (between levels 1 and 4). Featured guides (level 5) are voted on by the community, and it's often the only point where a guide gets a good thorough review by others. So I'd be favourable to the system you propose. A good idea is to get reviews from increasingly external sources as a page gets closer to featured status. If you'd like, I could help with some of the reviewing, as most of what I do focuses on reviewing edits for quality, and generally keeping pages in order.
