Difference between revisions of "Lylat Wiki:Editor-in-Chief"

After a reasonable amount of time has passed (not less than one week), the vote may be closed by the outgoing Editor-in-Chief, or the bureaucrat they have chosen to place in charge of overseeing the election. The winner will be the user with a simple majority of votes. The voting page should be [[Help:Protected pages|fully protected]]. The links on {{lw|Requests for permissions#Editor-in-Chief|Lylat Wiki:Requests for permissions}} and [[Template:News|the News template]] should be removed, and the link here under "[[#Current Election|Current Election]]" moved to "[[#Past Elections|Past Elections]]". The winning user should then be promoted to Bureaucrat, if they are not already one.
