The '''MushGus'''<ref>[[:File:MushGusRef.png|The MushGus's Entry in StarFox Adventures: Prima's Official Strategy Guide]]</ref> is an enemy which appears in ''[[Star Fox Adventures]]''. It is a crimson fungus that is slightly larger than [[Fox]]. It appears at several locations throughout Fox's quest at [[Sauria]], but perhaps mainly at [[ThornTail Hollow]]. As a mushroom, it is unable to move, but it is able to emit poisonous spores that will hurt Fox if he is to close. Even though it is invincible, it can be temporarily stunned with a shot from the Fire Blaster, allowing Fox to pass by without getting hurt. But because the spores only affect a very small area around the fungus, it's generally easier to walk around it while keeping a distance.
