* December 26, 2012 - Rising, UK-based Nintendo gaming media outlet Nintendo Life recently conducted an exclusive interview with Phil Tossell, a former Rare employee known to be the lead software engineer for Star Fox Adventures. Whilst the interview is not a break-through premise about how a game like Star Fox Adventures ended up with so many holes in it, Tossell shared a lot of his own perspectives and memories surrounding the game's internal development period, from beginning to launch. Here's a direct link to that article in question if interested. By the way, it was recently revealed that one of the attractions in the Wii U launch game Nintendo Land - "Metroid Blast" to be precise - was originally themed after the Star Fox series during development before it was later dropped in favor of the Metroid series because it "works well" with the latter. Consider it fortunate that Namco Bandai were more considerate when they included a Fox McCloud-based costume as a bonus for their fighters in their own launch title Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition. Before I also forget, in case you are not already aware, Star Fox 64 3D has since been re-released as a Nintendo eShop downloadable, digital game since November 2012 in all regions.

* July 10, 2012 - UK-based video game retailer GAME recently used their small press prowess to have a Q&A with the one and only Dylan Cuthbert, original lead designer for Star Fox and Star Fox 2, and founder of Q-Games. In this Q&A, Cuthbert reveals a few notable points about his career, his relationship with Nintendo and in particular with Shigeru Miyamoto, and his work on Star Fox. In fact, whilst not giving any hints about the type of gameplay we could anticipate with a possible Wii U Star Fox game, citing that he prefers what Shigeru Miyamoto would decide to do with that part, Cuthbert expressed his desire to work on another Star Fox game in the future, and "expand it further." Whilst the Q&A does not reveal any promises, it it quite an interesting read when it comes to Cuthbert's experience in the industry. GAME posted the entire Q&A interview on their official Facebook page.
