* September 13, 2011 - Despite being a remake, Star Fox 64 3D is enjoying quite a significant reception in its Western release. In the United Kingdom, it became the number one Nintendo 3DS game during its launch week, and it also took ninth place for best sold game of the week overall. Too bad we do not have any numbers from the United States yet.
* September 9, 2011 - Unless you live in Australia, what in the world are you doing on this site? Go to your nearest video game store right now and pick up your local copy of Star Fox 64 3D, assuming if you have not already done so! If you do not have a Nintendo 3DS, then get one! Once you do, enjoy the game at long last!

* August 26, 2011 - Do you recall when we reported early in July about a then-new "Iwata Asks" interview based on Star Fox 64 3D? Well, back then, the interview was only in Japanese, but as expected it has finally been officially translated, and posted up on other regional websites (except for Australia at the time of this post). Actually, the translations have been around for a while now, but I missed them the first time since due to lack of full attention back then. Sorry about that guys, but better late than never, in case you have not known about them already. Anyway, the interviews are a highly recommended read for true Star Fox enthusiasts, as it reveals some information bits nobody ever knew before. You can find the English translation either here or here.

* August 24, 2011 - The annual Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) is returning to Seattle again this week, and Nintendo will be attending. Nintendo will be displaying a number of their most anticipated upcoming titles, including Star Fox 64 3D, which is not surprising since the game was featured during the Comic-Con event last month. However, in case you are attending PAX, just know that on August 27 there will be a Star Fox 64 3D tournament between 7pm and 10pm, and Nintendo will be having daily giveaways too. So, if you are attending PAX at that date, have fun! In unrelated news, there had been rumors that Nintendo might announce a revamped Nintendo 3DS design that is to be released in 2012. Gaming rumors tend to turn out true, but keep in mind it is always a good idea never to take any rumor seriously until the information had been officially confirmed.

* August 10, 2011 - Not exactly related news, but since the situation is very similar to that that happened in Japan, I would personally say this is a notable mention. Nintendo of America recently confirmed that they are going to release the third official color of the Nintendo 3DS - Flame Red - in North America. Just like in Japan, the new color will coincide with the release of Star Fox 64 3D, meaning it will arrive on September 9, 2011. There is still no word whether the new color will be released in other regions as well. The new color will be the same price as the other colors, which will be 169.99 USD after Nintendo's critically notorious, official price-cut that will be established in two days from this date. For those of you who already own a Nintendo 3DS, are you eligible in the Ambassador's program yet?
