The '''Hi-Def Display Device''' is an optional item for purchase in the [[ThornTail Store]]. It's default price is 20 [[Scarab]]s, and the bargain price is 17 Scarabs. It was owned by [[Fox McCloud]] prior to ''[[Star Fox Adventures]]''. But when [[Slippy Toad]] airdropped it to [[Sauria]]'s surface for Fox, the [[ShopKeeper]] got it before he did. That is why he has to buy it. It works as a scope to view things from a distance and the display can be brought up by pressing the [[Z Button]], replacing the [[Head View]]. The [[C Stick]] can be used to zoom in and out.
