The Grenade is an explosive default weapon available in Star Fox Assault. In one of the game's posters, they are seem being juggled by Slippy Toad, showing his playful nature.

Usage
It does not work like other weapons. it itself detaches from a character's arsenal and explodes after a short amount of time. The longer they are held with the R or A button, the further they toss.
Strategy
Toss grenades from afar and/or high up so the grenades explode on time without lag. In the Story mode you can throw them at walls from an angle to hit camping Aparoids around corners. This is especially useful if you need to conserve health.
