Copperhead missiles are the largest and most destructive missiles in Venom's arsenal. They are well armored against enemy attacks and even sport a warp drive. In [[Star Fox 64]], six of these missiles target the [[Great Fox]] in the [[Sector Z]] nebula with Invader III class fighter escorts. If the player destroys the missiles before they can hit the Great Fox, the player can go to [[Area 6]] or [[Bolse]]. If the player cannot destroy the missiles before hitting the [[Great Fox]], the missile destroys one of the craft's wings, and the player is forced to go to Bolse, since the Great Fox is incapable of providing cover fire from the larger ships of Area 6. The missiles are most likely launched from the nearby Venom stronghold and supply base, [[Macbeth]]. This is likely to be true since on Macbeth, the train pulls cars laden with Copperheads, and those cars are susceptable to explosion.
