Cleaning Nintendo GameCube controllers

The following document was compiled using the owner's guide and own experience as reference.

Reasons Why The GameCube Controller is Malfuncioning

  • The controller isn't inserted into the socket of the machine correctly.
  • Debris is either in the controller socket or in the GameCube socket.
  • The controller was inserted into the GameCube when the console was turned on.

NOTE: The way to address most problems is to simply press the X, Y, and Start buttons on the GameCube Controller simultaneously while the controller is fully inserted into the console. Under normal conditions, the controller should start working correctly.
