Venom Orbital
The Venom Orbital is the name of three incarnations of a stage in Star Fox. It is visited as the penultimate stage in all three routes of difficulty. As the name suggests, each incarnation of the stage takes place in planetary orbit around the planet Venom. This is a highly-militarized region, and most of the action is against orbiting planetary defense forces of the Venomian Army as well as waves of cruise missiles launched from the planet's surface.
The Venom Orbital did not make the same appearance as such in Star Fox 64, which had separate defense stations (Area 6 and Bolse) in orbit around Venom rather than battle in planetary orbit itself.
