String Functions

We absolutely need this extension :/Neo 02:18, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

It is in my list of things to add when i am next able. Tacopill 20:49, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

We aren't Wikia

Can you warn people not to directly copy everything out of starfox.wikia.com, at least rephrase here and there. Also, if they are using it, before they save it, to proofread a few times since starfox.wikia.com is littered with typos and errors. Level 3 00:18, 8 March 2020 (UTC)

Hm.... I definitely agree with it, but will need to come up with something to do so. Hm.... Tacopill 00:23, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi. I don't know if you're the only sysop or whatever, but since you are one, I'd like to encourage you to take a more harsh stance on plagiarism. Paraphrasing as well as flat-out copy+paste is still not only inappropriate from a moral standpoint, it's actually illegal. Since Wikia's semi-recent license change to CC-BY-SA, using their content on any non-CC wiki is a violation of copyright. Thanks.
On a semi-related standpoint that doesn't involve any criticism from me ( :] ), do you know of any other NIWA wikis that are engaging/condoning-- or worse, encouraging-- such behavior? 96.255.126.216 23:18, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Dear 96.255.126.216, Thank you for contacting me on this. I do not believe any NIWA admin, or any of there wiki's anymore, is encouraging in such an act. However, like you said we do now have a harsher stance on plagiarism. I do not know of any current cases, but should they appear, we have Template:LW:IWP to help up out. Thank you again, [Tacopill|(talk)] 02:34, 9 April 2010 (UTC).

CSS

Don't bother with those too much, because we won't use it once Steve gets our skin done. Oh, and sorry that I can't really get on as much. Our wireless router goes to crap whenever my IP address shuffles itself, so we now have to reset it. Sorry.Neo 17:28, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

What if the colors still work when we have the skin? Also, alright about the router thing. [Tacopill|(talk)] 18:04, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Some of your colors get a bit whacked up though. Like navy on black doesn't boat well. Btw is steve still workin on ur skin? he seems to take a while, but it is hard work. Btw I'm from Metroid Wiki with plenty of experience and i could help you around templates and other junk. So when will lylat be a part of niwa? lol Malake256 22:05, 3 August 2010 (PDT)
Well...he's working on the skin for Zelda Wiki.org right now (I think.) But when he finishes, I think he's still on board. So, yeah. And I'll autopatrol you since I know you and know you're smart enough to know what you're doing.Neo 22:17, 3 August 2010 (PDT)
Alright cool, thanks. Steve's a funny guy. He's the best at editing skins around here.. but he's so lazy or busy or something when it comes to actually doing it. As for Niwa, will that happen? it seems more than plausible to me. Malake256 23:48, 3 August 2010 (PDT)
That's the plan, but we're not ready, yet. We don't have enough articles or anything, yet. We need 300, I think. Can't entirely recall (which is ironic, since I'm technically a member of the NIWA staff through WiKirby :P)Neo 00:09, 4 August 2010 (PDT)
Last time checked, it was 200. We currently have 31 articles, most of them are Stubbish. As for the colors, i am open to people challenging/changing them; just please keep the color scheme i had going (See LW:DWP and My color scheme table). unless it conflicts with the skin; in which case, change the colors to fit the skin better and/or come up with a new scheme. [Tacopill|(talk)] 09:58, 4 August 2010 (PDT).
Alright, sounds good. Just a couple can be hard to read. Hmm, I'll make some suggestions through templates, then you could change their colors around. Malake256 10:41, 4 August 2010 (PDT)
I like that option, as i can't see colors the way most people see them; and thank you for the spelling correction. [Tacopill|(talk)] 10:48, 4 August 2010 (PDT).

Ahh well. Placing Blue on black doesn't seem to work so well, kinda like placing yellow on white, makes people squint to try to read it. I'd also suggest having templates for colors, like bulbapedia's color templates, for example have character color, I'll mess with the character template a bit, and we'll see how it looks. Malake256 11:00, 4 August 2010 (PDT)

Sounds good. I look forward to the results. Also, if you get a chance, please toy around with MediaWiki:common.css. [Tacopill|(talk)] 11:07, 4 August 2010 (PDT).
Lylat Wiki:Sandbox#Malake's Color Style Suggestions Something more color-based like that, it doesn't look as plain. Also I've added some round templates I know Neo is familiar with. And I'll be sure to :] Malake256 11:43, 4 August 2010 (PDT)
Looks good. Out of curiousity, is there a trend in niwa not to use common.css, and instead do the style directly on template? I don't mean to insult, I am simply wondering. [Tacopill|(talk)] 12:58, 4 August 2010 (PDT).
No nothing like that. The niwas aren't tied down by anything like that. I think it's just easier to find and change that way. And colors and styles tend to change a lot, so it's better kept on the template instead of having to go through the css for every change. Like, lets say one color needs change, it's much easier to go to the template and change it instead of common.css. And not many know how to change the css. Some things are better changed on the css though, like link colors. Malake256 13:48, 4 August 2010 (PDT)
Ok, that makes sense. But if we continue with it in that way, we will need to make Template:Tl, Template:Tl, etc. and have subtemplates for div & table headers, rows, cols, cells, footers, and whatever else will be needed..... sounds fun :D. [Tacopill|(talk)] 13:28, 7 August 2010 (PDT).

Username

You mentioned that you wanted a rename, right? Well, since you're also a crat, feel free to do it yourself. This is the link for ya. Enjoy!Neo 00:14, 4 August 2010 (PDT)

Sounds good....but what name? User:Tacopill is already taken. can we merge accounts? [Tacopill|(talk)] 09:59, 4 August 2010 (PDT)
Thank you for the change. I laughed when i saw User:Tacobot. [Tacopill|(talk)] 04:32, 5 August 2010 (PDT).

Wikiprojects

So do I ask you to be part of a wikiproject or can I just spam my own page with the userboxes? PureLocke(User/Talk) 12:13, 10 August 2010 (PDT)

Either will be fine. In addition, If you look at each WikiProject Page, there is a membership section, which itself has a user's section. Put Yourself under that subsection, starting with a pound-sign #. Out of curiosity, Which one are you interested in? [Tacopill|(talk)] 12:28, 10 August 2010 (PDT).

Characters, items, locations, people, at least as far as Star Fox 64 goes since it is the only one I own. It would probably make sense to have projects just for each game as well, for people who have played all the games and the ones that really know a couple. PureLocke(User/Talk) 15:04, 10 August 2010 (PDT)

I'll look into doing projects just for each game, but i would need to run it by Neo first. Anyway, you may join any number of projects, but i recommend keeping it to 2-3 that way you don't split your focus too much. And don't forget, you will always be allowed to make edits, regardless if the page falls under the project's scope or not. The point of wikiprojects are to gather people of a similar interest/expertise/talents, and have their combined help on tasks such as: Creating Templates, organizing categories, etc. [Tacopill|(talk)] 16:04, 10 August 2010 (PDT).
Ok, i ran it past Neo, and he doesn't think doing projects focused on games is a good idea. So, instead what i did is added section headers to Star Fox 64, to help it along. -Keep the ideas and contributions coming. [Tacopill|(talk)] 05:29, 11 August 2010 (PDT).

Good News!

This could be part of 5 other converstions on the wiki, but i am placing it here as i didn't think it really leant itself to anyone more than the others.

Hey Guys! i've showed Wolf O'Donnell to our skype chat (which includes fearless leader, Neo, and our skin designer, Steve) and they liked the color changes Malake256 suggested and what PureLocke and Moydow gave feedback on. Woo! (brief pause to catch breath). Now, should we text replace the Template:Tl with Template:Tl, or should i swap 1.0 for 2.0, and make Template:Tl a redirect or delete it...hm.... [Tacopill|(talk)] 19:40, 13 August 2010 (PDT).

V-1 could serve a purpose as an Item template if it was kept around. Otherwise I think it is ready (I wouldn't know though). Attracting an artistic person (if Steve isn't) would be helpful so we don't just pick a bunch of our favorite colors, they could pick and match palettes for different sections of the wiki. PureLocke(User/Talk) 15:07, 16 August 2010 (PDT)
Sounds good. But i am also looking for which what would be the specific text to use. Do i include "v2.0", and we continue using numeric templates from here on in, OR replace the main template with the content of the new one and only keep "v2.0" as a redirect and for it's edit history. Personally, i'm in favor of the former, but that's just me. [Tacopill|(talk)] 15:32, 16 August 2010 (PDT).
There's always room for change, if there's anything wrong with that template color-wise, fix it :] And if you'd really like, i could do something similar to all similar templates. Might take a while, I'm not sure how long it would take considering I end up busy on Metroid Wiki, but I could get it done eventually. Or you could take a crack at it yourself. Malake256 21:44, 16 August 2010 (PDT)
Actually, i have been :D. Please Check out the following pages, and give me feed back on them: Bomb, Star Fox 64 and Landmaster. [Tacopill|(talk)] 22:23, 16 August 2010 (PDT).
I see, some need work though, articles need to be created to drop the red links. I'm sorry, as it turns out I'm now an admin at two wikis. I might be too busy to stick around and fix stuff any time soon. Malake256 22:43, 16 August 2010 (PDT)
It's OK. Where are you admining? and yes...the red links will need to go eventually. But i was pointing out the new colors in the templates. [Tacopill|(talk)] 10:59, 17 August 2010 (PDT).
The colors are great, i like having colored backgrounds instead of just white. Always more appealing to me that way. 68.127.126.168 16:43, 17 August 2010 (PDT)
Thank you, Random IP Adress..... :D. Enjoy your stay, contribute where you see would be helpful and have fun! [Tacopill|(talk)] 17:43, 17 August 2010 (PDT).

Spambots

The page Template:Documentation shell has been targeted by spammers, and it appears to be flooding the server (the job queue was about 800 as I started typing). You may need to protect the page, as the IPs are varied. Moydow 19:49, 23 August 2010 (PDT)

Thank you very much. I will Take care of that now. [Tacopill|(talk)] 19:51, 23 August 2010 (PDT).

Lylat Wiki:Series And, they're back. Sorry if I interrupted you from your work, but this is a new page, meaning I can't undo the edit. Moydow 20:17, 23 August 2010 (PDT)

Done. Thank you again. [Tacopill|(talk)] 20:27, 23 August 2010 (PDT).

Alright. Thank you both.

W'hello

This is a minor thing really, I understand that you guys are busy with adding and changing tons of stuff as this is a relatively new Wiki. But I must know if my experiences with formatting are so limited that I even can't resize an image, or if it's some kind of glitch with the pic template that makes the text constantly appear whenever I'm trying to make one bigger or smaller. According to the Image Help Guide, I'm being a good boy.. And could you put "create different types of references templates" on your to-do list any time soon? Exempli gratia, one for in-game quotes and one for manual quotes? Because I'd like to initiate the reffing! :3 ~ Sun Braid 03:10, 29 August 2010 (PDT)

Nah, you're doing nothing wrong image wise; the template just default-ly has , as i thought 100px would fit most situations. I've changed the template a little so now you can now specify the size of the image, and if you don't, it just assumes you wish to use 100px. Sorry for the confusion. As for the "create different types of references templates", by all means. Do you have a list of examples you would like me to put together? would you like to learn how to put them together? [Tacopill|(talk)] 09:19, 29 August 2010 (PDT).
I'm referring to the red-colored links here. I have no experience whatsoever when it comes to creating templates like these, I've only been used to Wikis that have existed for a couple of years and so they already got a way to ease most of the formatting. I do think that the only way to ref an article as it is now, is the use of external links. ¡And thanks for spending your time on fixing the image issue! ~ Sun Braid 10:08, 29 August 2010 (PDT)
Ah, i see them. I will put the job on my to-do list. Do you have experience creating templates in general? if not, do you wish to learn? [Tacopill|(talk)] 10:56, 29 August 2010 (PDT).
I do not have any experiences regarding the creation of templates at all, unfortunately. But I guess that it'd be a good experience, so go ahead and instruct me and I'll make an attempt. But I must warn you that I might be like a baby who's trying to learn the art of walking. I really am unaccustomed to these sort of things. ~ Sun Braid 13:03, 1 September 2010 (PDT)
That's fine. I can give you simple templates just to chew on as you practice. When you get a chance, pop over to Lylat_Wiki:Templates#Tasks and take a look at the "Current Tasks". Choose one of the tasks that seem simple and tell me what it is. If you can not choose, don't wish to choose, or something similar, come back anyway and tell me. I have a few simple teplates you can work on. [Tacopill|(talk)] 14:15, 1 September 2010 (PDT).

If you are wondering about the templates being so wide,

If you are wondering about the templates being so wide, then please read this. It's a wiki news-thing i put out every time i do something major with the wiki, have a big project going on or something of a similar scale. [Tacopill|(talk)] 21:38, 30 August 2010 (PDT).

Invitation

Sure I'll join. Do I sign up on the page or just accept here?--TW 12:52, 1 September 2010 (PDT)

Ok! I already added a picture to Supply Rings, and I'll add more soon! =) Yoshitron 07:41, 10 October 2010 (PDT)

Um. Thank you for adding that, but you also added to the item infobox template, which makes the picture appear on every Item-page. [Tacopill|(talk)] 08:43, 10 October 2010 (PDT).

Template Help

I'm sorry to say that I have very little experience in templates, so I'm not the best person to ask. The one I made was more or less copy/paste from the others. Having that been said, I did find the first half of the page very understandable which means a lot considering how complex templates can be. I only started having trouble towards the Development header. I'm sorry to say that, after that, I can't do much for you.--TW 18:39, 1 September 2010 (PDT)

Would you like to learn how more about templates? I can give you some instructions/tips/etc and have you practice on templates that we need or i want, ;-). [Tacopill|(talk)] 19:16, 1 September 2010 (PDT).

Just so you are aware.

In the case anyone didn't notice, I posted this. If you didn't receive a message that i posted there, then you aren't watching Template:LW:Characters.... which makes me sad..... *attempts to be funny in a text-only manner*. [Tacopill|(talk)] 13:46, 22 September 2010 (PDT).

test

test! [Tacopill|(talk)] 11:19, 28 September 2010 (PDT). yea that was kinda a accident haha. sorry if i messed stuff up :}

It's OK. If you'd like, i can teach you how things work on a wiki, based on any experience you have. [Tacopill|(talk)] 09:00, 6 October 2010 (PDT).

A note about the hiatus notice on front

Hey guys, i am going to be away from September 29th, 2010 to October 4th, 2010. I will be visiting one of my old colleges for a LAN Party, and don't know how much free time i will have, no how much i will be visiting the wiki. I will probably still have acess to email, so if something turns up, just leave a message on this page, and i will look at it when i am next able. Thanks, and see you guys Monday. [Tacopill|(talk)] 12:38, 28 September 2010 (PDT).

And i am back. [Tacopill|(talk)] 12:18, 4 October 2010 (PDT).

Just a question

How do I fix one template, without messing all the other templates up? Foxdude54 17:16

Like so:

when you place information to the right of an equal sign, it takes place of the {varibles} in the template. For example,

team named Star Fox

comes out as: Template:Articleabout

check out this link. it shows you how i added the SNES picture to the article. [Tacopill|(talk)] 14:33, 12 October 2010 (PDT).
Like this?
{{InfoBoxBegin v2.5
| class = {} Stage color10
| style= {}
| title = Stages
| colors = Stage
| picture = Fortuna.png
| picture_size = 195 x 197
| caption = Fortuna from space
| Info1name = Name
| Info1details = Fortuna
| Info2name = Stage Type
| Info2details = Planet
}}

Foxdude54 18:10

With what you did, you are trying to modify the template itself. Rather, go to Fortuna and insert the following code:

this way, you modify the template's output rather than the template itself. If you'd like, i could go over the basics of template usage and design. Do you have a skype? [Tacopill|(talk)] 15:17, 12 October 2010 (PDT).

Sorry, I do not, but I have an e-mail and a desire to learn, is that enough? I inserted the code above, and it says there is a template loop, what does that mean? Foxdude54 18:20
Yea. That should be fine. It would be better then trying to explain it all on wiki pages, which could take up a lot of space. My email is bud0011[at]gmail[dot]com. Drop me a line, and i can conver all of this, including template loops. And if you do choose to do get a skype at some time later, add me as a contact at "tacopill". [Tacopill|(talk)] 15:27, 12 October 2010 (PDT).

And the template loop? What should I do? Foxdude54 18:35

We will get to this in the emails. for now, i just reverted the edit. [Tacopill|(talk)] 16:34, 12 October 2010 (PDT).

Falcorulz: Hey this is Falcorulz! I joined your Template project! I will try to help out as much as possible!

Sounds good and Welcome aboard. If you need any help, just ask or email me.

Top secret missions

I am beginning to recurit people for a few top secret missions. If you think you may be interested, and have the spare time, then drop me an email at bud0011[at]gmail[dot]com, user "tacopill" on skype or here on the wiki. Of course, i can't discuss what they are here, but you can still express interest in them. [Tacopill|(talk)] 21:23, 18 October 2010 (PDT).

Just tried importing images

They aren't showing up. Am I missing something? Sorry if I'm acting hastily. xD Blue Ninjakoopa 19:24, 27 October 2010 (PDT)

It's fine, just come down a little. The files themselves don't get carried over from the other wiki, just the file pages. We will have to manually upload all of the images by hand. Also, Check out Lylat_Wiki:Merger_Proceeding when you get a chance. [Tacopill|(talk)] 19:28, 27 October 2010 (PDT).
Alright man, I gotta get going. See you tomorrow. Blue Ninjakoopa 20:35, 27 October 2010 (PDT)
Later man; and be sure to check pages i imported already before importing more. [Tacopill|(talk)] 21:03, 27 October 2010 (PDT).

Fanon

I do understand that you are all busy here with the merge and everything, but please take a minute and listen. I would suggest you setting up a fanon subdomain to go on NIWA's main page. I could help with it once it is up. You could still worry about the merge while I get Star Fox Fanon up and running. Peanut64

as a subdomian, would you mean fanon.starfoxwiki.org? if so, the person you would need to talk to is Neo. Thank you for the offer though, i am in support of it. [Tacopill|(talk)] 14:04, 30 October 2010 (PDT).

Article Promotion

I've been looking over some of the articles and a lot of them, speciffically the character pages, have a huge template saying that the article is protected for evaluation. Considering our current lack of members, do you think that some of these pages could be unprotected until we have people to evaluate them. Another possibility is going to NIWA forums and asking some of the members of other wikis to help us out with the evaluation. We could also ask them to help weed out the crud pages from Arwingpedia. It's a shame that no one really came over from there other than BNK. It was less of a merge and more of a "yes, you can use our information". Speaking of merges, I recently was on starmen.net and came across this Earthbound Wiki. Have you seen this and if you have, have you approached them about a possible merge? See you later.--TW 17:02, 2 January 2011 (PST)

It's kind of funny. Not long after I wrote this, I stumble upon a thread similar to this on the NIWA forums. Also, I forgot to include this in the original message, what I mentioned about a lack of members brought to mind something we were talking about just before the merge. I was wondering whether you might want to renew the talks of affiliating with those precious few Star Fox fansites left?--TW 18:02, 2 January 2011 (PST)
Wow, that's a lot of info. My responses, Going topic by topic.
  1. Yes, i agree on the protection-template-thing-removal-thing . I have been removing the templates, as i have come across them. Feel free to remove them (and unprotect the related page) when you see them.
  2. There is actually This, but they are waiting for us to be done with the merger. It will be cool to for them to be come in and help.
  3. I intend on going in to the forums looking for help specifically for the wiki, but haven't thought about the right way to go about it just yet.
  4. Similarly, I plan on contacting Star Fox-fan sites, once we are a little bigger and more reputable. It is why i have also been sites for this page: add to our reputation. Do you have a List of these precious sites?
  5. when we got Arwingpedia's info, there was barely any members of Arwingpedia left (Except, Wolf down bellow). So, i would of loved for more people to come over, but i don't think it's the case.
  6. On the topic of the EarthBound Wikis merger, it has been brought up before, and the staff of WikiBound didn't seem interested. Thank you for the suggestion though.
Keep the ideas and discussions coming. AND thank you for not giving up on the wiki. I strongly appreciated it. [Tacopill|(talk)] 15:41, 5 January 2011 (PST).
I just now signed up on SFO, asking if anyone had scans of the player's guide for Adventures and on. Hopefully, I'll get some replies and maybe inspire some to join. I don't think we should ask for affiliation until we can stand on our feet a bit.--TW 19:25, 6 January 2011 (PST)
Evidently asking for such things is improper on the internet. I hoped that asking for help wouldn't be too much, but I didn't exactly word it to sound like help and more as a request. I apologized and hope that nothing irrepairable has been done. I just thought I'd mention it just in case that it came up, it wouldn't sound like I was hiding a mistake. Also, do you think you'll be able to join the site. I know you haven't played many of the Star Fox games, though. --TW 13:40, 7 January 2011 (PST)
It's fine. I applaud your initiative, and feel sorry that it didn't work out for you.
I also Apologize on that, i probably won't be joining SFO. Out of a personal respect for a community, i have learned not to signup for the sole-purpose of advertising another site. I would need to get involved in the community, build up a reputation and then request help / affiliation; and i am sorry to say, I simply don't have the time to do so for each and every community out there. (And i learned it the hardway, three times over. ><)
Instead, may i recommend contacting a PR guy for the site through the site's "about" or "contact us" page? Some tips i have come up with:
  • if the place has an email, i try that first.
    • If not, i look around the site to see what is the best way to contact the PR guy.
  • If there is no PR guy, then i look for whose in charge.
Anyway, I am impressed by the initiative. Keep up the good and send me an email when you are next able. There are somethings i would like to talk with you on. [Tacopill|(talk)] 21:08, 7 January 2011 (PST).

Predator Rocket

Hello, Tacopill. Do you mind if I "post" the Predator Rocket, and Versus Mode articles from Arwingpedia here? (Wolf O'Donnell 23:16, 2 January 2011 (PST))

Just so you know, this message hasn't gone unread. And thank you for Joining! [Tacopill|(talk)] 15:48, 5 January 2011 (PST).

Your Opinion

I just joined the NIWA forums and wanted to post something in the Suggestions thread whenever I decided to get your opinion first. Do you think it might a good idea to have two Smashwikis? The one we have right have right now seems to be focused less on the games and more on the pro competitive parts of the games. The other one could be just about the games and characters without things like tiers and fan made names. This would be more for the new fans that don't want to be overwhelmed by complex terms used on Smashwiki, which would become something similar, but not equivilant to, Pikmin Fanon. The other thing I want to suggest, but wouldn't come to fruition for a long time, would be a community story. There would actually be two stories done Oracle of Ages/Seasons style to prevent character overfill. There'd be a general story team made of people from each wiki and the stories themselves would be done round robin style which means one person would write one chapter and send it to someone else to write the next chapter. I have more ideas, but this is the general idea. If you want to know more before I suggest this, just ask. --TW 19:13, 15 January 2011 (PST)

  1. It's possible for a second SmashWiki to join, but only if the first SmashWiki approves of it, and then NIWA overall has to approve it. Perhaps an "Introduction to Super Smash Bros." might be helpful, if your suggestion doesn't work out.
  2. Although i probably won't be participating in the second idea, i do like it; and would be interested in seeing what would become of it. :)
By the way, Welcome to the forums! [Tacopill|(talk)] 22:23, 15 January 2011 (PST).

Vandalism

I was reading through the NIWA forums today and found one of the admins from Zelda Wiki used this page to stop the annoying vandalism that seems to be growing daily. Do you think that you could install it onto the wiki? I'd try, but seeing as I haven't done it before, I don't want to mess up anything important. --TW 04:36, 6 March 2011 (PST)

EDIT: I didn't think to mention it before, but I've heard of similar failed login attempts on both biosector01.com and bzpower.com, two sites based on Lego's Bionicle series. My only question is, what kind of connection is their between NIWA and the two sites?--TW 04:16, 6 March 2011 (PST)
Sounds good. I have taken care of it. :).
And: sorry, i don't currently know of any connection to Lego's Bionicle with NIWA.
[Tacopill|(talk)] 16:40, 8 March 2011 (PST).
I couldn't think of any either. I just thought it might be worth bringing to show we're not alone. Assuming that the two events have the same origin.--TW 18:44, 8 March 2011 (PST)
Ok. That makes sense. Thank you for that, then. [Tacopill|(talk)] 19:09, 11 March 2011 (PST).

Apology

Hello, Tacopill. I apologize for my recent (or not recent?) inactivity. Please don't be angry... (Wolf O'Donnell 22:29, 8 March 2011 (PST))

It's mnot a problem, and I'm not angry. But if you don't mind me asking, what has kept you so busy? [Tacopill|(talk)] 19:05, 11 March 2011 (PST).
I just forgot, I guess. I do have the site in my "Top Sites," so I don't really have an excuse. Thank you.. (Wolf O'Donnell 22:16, 11 March 2011 (PST))
You're welcome. And welcome back! :). [Tacopill|(talk)] 15:36, 12 March 2011 (PST).

Article

Hello, Tacopill. Is there any article(s) in specific that you would like me to work on? (Wolf O'Donnell 22:02, 15 March 2011 (PDT))

Well, since you asked:
If any of those requests were already filled, please go to the article and remove the related template.
Also, could you see this category? In it are things that haven't been fixed, or maybe even looked at, in one year. If possible, i would like to see any marked problems fixed, or revalued.
Thank you for your help, [Tacopill|(talk)] 12:40, 16 March 2011 (PDT).
Hello, sir. I've got some content written that I haven't posted. I was just having some trouble with where certain articles need these sources (i.e., Leon). I guess I'm a bit oblivious, could you help me with that? Thank you. (Wolf O'Donnell 13:59, 22 March 2011 (PDT))
Sure, but you may need somethings. By chance, do you have a book (like a strategy guide or magazine) or know of a reputable fan site that would have information on Leon? [Tacopill|(talk)] 23:18, 25 March 2011 (PDT).
Sorry for the late reply, I've been a bit busy unfortunately. I do have a manual (Assault), but that's about it. There are some official Websites I could check, if that would work? (Wolf O'Donnell 22:44, 26 March 2011 (PDT))
Not a problem on the late reply. Those could work, but they wouldn't work for a third-party source. They do, however work as a second-party source. ;).

Hey No Prob

You're welcome, I am an avid fan of the series, and I usually like helping underdeveloped sites and make them popular. --AnyGuy 12:12, 4 May 2011 (PDT)

Woo! That's what i like to hear. If you need anything, just give my talk page a message, and i will answer it as soon as i can. [Tacopill|(talk)] 13:19, 4 May 2011 (PDT).

RE: Thank you

Heh, no problem, even though I think I haven't done much anything... I'm so much busier nowadays than I used to @_@ DarkSamus89 09:26, 9 May 2011 (PDT)

It is completely understandable. We will enjoy having you here during those times you can be. :) [Tacopill|(talk)] 13:47, 10 May 2011 (PDT).

Re: When you get a chance

Okay. --AnyGuy 11:53, 18 May 2011 (PDT)

Woo! [Tacopill|(talk)] 07:54, 19 May 2011 (PDT).

Apology

Hello, Tacopill. Please allow me the privlege of apologizing for my inactivity, especially in light of the fact that I said that I would edit some articles but haven't done so as of yet. I have had some computer problems, but that doesn't explain my recent (April, May) inactivity. I have no excuse; please do not be angry. I will try my best to be on as often as I can. (Wolf O'Donnell 23:34, 26 May 2011 (PDT))

Dude, it is not a problem. I am glad you are back and are okay. I do apologize, that we had to make some decisions without your input. However, you are still welcome to continue to make contributions and join in discussions like This one. Again, welcome back. [Tacopill|(talk)] 14:19, 27 May 2011 (PDT).
Thank you very much, Tacopill. I have a question... should I create an article regarding Nintendo's next console (Project Café)? I know there are rumor mills, but perhaps I could make an attempt at separating the wheat from the chaff? (Wolf O'Donnell 23:02, 27 May 2011 (PDT))
Eh... i am not entirely sure that should be done. Very little info is known about it, even less is what is confirmed; and even more less if there is going to be a star fox game on it. If you would like, you can make a subpage of your user page, User:Wolf O'Donnell/Project Café, on it and when both the article is ready and more concrete details comes out, then we could move it into the main space and still retain the page history. [Tacopill|(talk)] 05:32, 29 May 2011 (PDT).

Reference

I apologize that I didn't add a reference when I wrote Wolf's text from the site. I had forgotten about it. (Wolf O'Donnell 21:01, 29 May 2011 (PDT))

It is not a problem. References aren't usually needed for quotes, i just thought it would be useful for that one. [Tacopill|(talk)] 08:20, 30 May 2011 (PDT).

Sorry

Sorry that I have been inactive, it's just that I have gotten more involved on Wikia then I bargained for. I already own the Band of Brothers Wiki, and I adopted the Saving Private Ryan Wiki, and I'm an adminastrator on the Pacific Wiki. I have made edits on Wikipedia, and I recently created an account on Uncyclopedia. I have also been managing my Youtube, Gmail, and Facebook accounts. And their is my personal life. I'm still a teenager, and I'm already dealing with responsibility :P. --AnyGuy 19:10, 10 June 2011 (PDT)

It is not a problem, we all have responsibilities we have to take care of and other stuff we want to do. Come back to us when you get a chance; but if you choose to stay inactive, then i wish you good luck in whatever you do. I know some people who can offer independent hosting, if you ever need it for those wikis. [Tacopill|(talk)] 08:06, 12 June 2011 (PDT).

Great. I'll try to be more active during the summer, though their may be gaps of inactivity over the time, which is most likely me on a vacation to somewhere, like, I might be going to Scandinavia. But all in all, you can count on me! --AnyGuy 14:17, 14 June 2011 (PDT)

Sounds great!. And have a great trip. :). [Tacopill|(talk)] 18:58, 17 June 2011 (PDT).

Going away for vacation

I'll Be back in about two weeks or more! --AnyGuy 10:27, 27 June 2011 (PDT)

Sounds good. Have fun, and tell us when you get back all about it :). [Tacopill|(talk)] 19:15, 8 July 2011 (PDT).
I have returned from a family trip to Texas. I didn't go to Scandinavia unfortunately, but I did go target shooting, and go carting, and just waring my ass out! --AnyGuy 17:07, 17 July 2011 (PDT)

Well, I'm back.

How are things going? I'm sorry I missed out on so much. I'm no longer being punished. Yeah, it's been forever lol. But I'm back. Fill me in? Blue Ninjakoopa 19:15, 4 July 2011 (PDT)

First, Welcome back! :).
Second, Many, many things.
  1. We declared the merger as over;
  2. User:Foxdude54 was promoted to being a patroller,
  3. we launched a new skin (or customized version of monobook, if you prefer),
  4. we are discussing Improving the Wiki and the possibility of advertisements.
(there's probably more, but that's what i can think of off the top of my head)
