Why was category gotten rid of?

Why was [[:Category:Character Art Files]] gotten rid of?

Because we already had Category: Character images, which seemed the same thing.--TW 12:47, 3 September 2010 (PDT)
hm....I thought "Character Art Files" were different from regular "Character images". The "Art Files" only have one character, and it is sometimes a draft-look of a character, before it is put into the game. "Character images" on the other hand, can contain any amount of Characters, can be from any stage of game development and can include Vehicles, Items, etc. But this is just my opinion. That works as well...20:25, 3 September 2010 (PDT).

Assistance

I was starting on working uploading images for the Blue Marine page when I realized that this template was improperly labeled and should include areas and vehicles, not just characters. Unfortunately, I had a little problem setting up the categeories to match the set figures in the respective slots. Would someone mind helping me out? I believe that is the only problem.--TW 09:33, 19 September 2010 (PDT)

Out of curiosity, How much experience do you have with parser functions? [Tacopill|(talk)] 09:49, 19 September 2010 (PDT).
The fact that I have no idea what those are should tell you. When it comes to templates, I learn based on what's already shown and extrapolate based on that. Usually it works, but if what I see is an anomaly, I continue based on it and make the mistake which is what I'm assuming happened here. Now that I look at what you did, I think I see what needs to be done.--TW 09:59, 19 September 2010 (PDT)
Sounds good. If you have further questions, don't hesitate to ask. [Tacopill|(talk)] 10:04, 19 September 2010 (PDT).
