Spoiler warning: The following contains key plot or ending details.

Early History

Pigma was originally a member of the original Star Fox team. Obsessed with greed, he accepted a job from Andross to betray his team. He did just that and, while Peppy escaped, James was killed. He later joined up with Wolf O'Donnell's team, Star Wolf.

Time with Star Wolf

Template:BossInfoBox v2.5 Pigma first appeared with the other members of Star Wolf on Fichina. At the time, the Star Fox team was busy with a bomb about to blow up a base. Star Wolf's mission was to distract Star Fox so the base would blow. Pigma chased Peppy throughout the battle due to the history between the two. Pigma and Star Wolf appeared again as the final line of defense before Venom if Fox's team went to Bolse Defense Satellite.

If Fox's team went through Area 6, Pigma and the rest of of Star Wolf were the last line of defense for Andross's lair itself instead. Pigma now flew a Wolfen II, which had far superior targeting and maneuvering systems. But like the dogfight on Fichina, Pigma was defeated by Fox and his team.

On His Own

Template:BossInfoBox v2.5 Nine years later, the Star Fox team responded to a distress call on Katina during the Aparoid invasion. When the Aparoids were cleared, the distress signal ended and Pigma emerged from the base. He stole the Core Memory that Fox was attempting to retrieve and flew off with it. Later on Fichina, Pigma was revealed to be the one behind the climate control center being shut down. He activated the climate control device once Fox brought it back up and had it infected by and Aparoid. He used it as a distraction to escape. As he traveled to the asteroid belt, he began to show the first signs of Aparoid infection. When the Star Fox team next found him, his ship was floating pilotless and he was out in the vaccuum of space next to a huge weapon. His lower half had been fused into the center of the weapon and was then completely absorbed into the machine. With this fusion, Pigma's mind was assimilated into the weapon's AI and was soon destroyed by the Star Fox team.

Specter of the Past

Even though Pigma was dead, the remains of the machine containing leftovers of Pigma's mind wandered the Lylat System. After over two years of wandering, Pigma had gathered together a small force of stray space creatures.

Pigma's Revenge

This story occurs if ROB 64 chooses to seek out Falco and Falco later chooses to ignore ROB's advice to join Fox.

He eventually ran into Falco Lombardi and sent his forces out at him. Falco managed to defeat Pigma's forces with the help of Katt Monroe. Falco then destroyed the remains of the Pigma robot, erasing the universe of the last of Pigma.

The Curse of Pigma

Template:BossInfoBox v2.5 This story occurs if Wolf betrays Fox and Falco on Titania and ROB follows them.

During the Anglar attacks, Star Wolf ran into their ex-member, Pigma. They made a deal that, if Pigma covered them on their way to Venom, they would lead Fox McCloud into a trap and Pigma could have him. That was exactly what Wolf did when he betrayed Fox and Falco on Titania. Wolf fled while Pigma fought Fox. Fox managed to destroy what was left of Pigma in the Lylat System.
