P.D.A.

The P.D.A. is a scanner device used by Fox in Star Fox Adventures. It is always shown on the HUD, at the bottom-left corner of the screen. The P.D.A. has three features, all of which are optional: providing descriptions for certain characters or objects, having a built-in compass to detect nearby Fuel Cells, and showing a map of the overworld, although Fox must purchase the maps at ThornTail Store. In the store, the P.D.A. also shows the names of objects for sale and their price. The player can press left or right on the the D-pad to switch between the P.D.A.'s features.
