The Machine Gun is a default weapon available in Star Fox: Assault. It fires rapid shots, which is good for racking up damage.
Usage
Pressing and holding the A or R button will allow the gun to fire until the entire magazine is depleted.
Strategy
It is useful against vehicles for its accuracy, and for its rate of fire. It has hitstun for each bullet and the only way for out to get out of a well aimed stream of bullets is to D/I away. You can trap anyone using the Sniper Rifle's scope because they cannot move to save themselves.
