The Cornerian Assault Carrier was the main planetary assault ship/carrier in the Cornerian Navy. These old starcruisers used to be the workhorse ship up until the Lylat Wars, where it was replaced by the Pleiades-class Cruiser.

The Assault Carrier had two large forward hangars that take up over three quarters of the hull. With these massive hangars, the ship can carry an impressive complement of fighters, but with this great cargo capacity comes a lack in defence. Without shields, even the smallest of fighters could devastate these ships.

After the events of Star Fox: Assault, Fox McCloud purchased a decommissioned carrier due to lack of funds, and named it the Great Fox II.
