Bloop, also known as Flying Creatures[1], is a flying enemy in Star Fox Adventures. It resembles a flying reptile, and when it sees Fox, it makes a malicious laugh and swoops at him. It attacks Fox by scratching with its claws, but he can easily defeat Bloops with a single strike from the Staff. Bloops appear in ThornTail Hollow, Moon Mountain Pass, Volcano Force Point Temple, and some Krazoa Shrines. Like most enemies, Bloops usually respawn shortly after being defeated.
After Fox has delivered the third SpellStone via the Volcano Force Point Temple, several Bloops are attacking the ThornTails (excluding the Mother ThornTail). There are three Bloops flying over each of the six ThornTails. The Bloops are flying out of Fox's reach, so he must use his Fire Blaster to defeat each one. After defeating all 18 Bloops, the ThornTails reward Fox with a Large Scarab Bag.
