Garunda Te is the GateKeeper of DarkIce Mines and the leader of the SnowHorn tribe on Sauria during the events of Star Fox Adventures.

When Fox met him, Garunda Te was trapped and Fox had to get him three frost weeds so he could break out. Once free, Garunda told him that when General Scales invaded, he came to Garunda Te and threatened to destroy the SnowHorn tribe if he did not open the gateway to the SpellStone. When Garunda Te refused, his daughter went against his wishes and opened the gate to save the tribe. However, Scales enslaved the SnowHorn tribe despite her cooperation. Garunda Te then opened the gateway to DarkIce Mines asked Fox to go to there and find the SpellStone to save the planet.
