| Red Grub Tubs can be usually found anywhere, and are easier to catch at night, as they sleep. While they are awake, they will try to run away from [[Fox McCloud|Fox]], and after a hit with the [[Krystal's Staff|staff]], they will become stunned, and then they will be catchable.

| White Grub Tubs can be usually found in an underground cave found in the ThornTail Hollow. To gain acces to this cave, Fox had to get a [[FireFly Lantern]], so the [[ThornTail|Crazy ThornTail]] would allow Fox to gain access to the [[Bomb Spore Planting Patch]].
