Grub Tubs are semi-sentient fungus that inhabit the Dinosaur Planet.
Red Grub Tubs are the favourite food of Tricky, and the White variant has medicinal properties, as they are used to heal the Queen EarthWalker. This is also confirmed by Tricky during the game. He said: "Fox, we should find White Grub Tubs, my mom' 'gave ´em to me when I didnt feel well..."
Red Grub Tubs can be usually found anywhere, and are easier to catch at night, as they sleep. While they are awake, they will try to run away from Fox, and after a hit with the staff, they will become stunned, and then they will be catchable.
White Grub Tubs can be usually found in an underground cave found in the ThornTail Hollow. To gain acces to this cave, Fox had to get a FireFly Lantern, so the Crazy ThornTail would allow Fox to gain access to the Bomb Spore Planting Patch.
